These ribbons are suitable for printing on standard coated paper and synthetic labels. Wax/Resin ink ribbons are wax ink ribbons enriched with resin, making this material more resistant to smearing and scratching than, for example, a standard wax ink ribbon.
We therefore recommend using wax/resin ink ribbons for long-term applications. Thse are not recomended on synthetic labels that often come into contact with chemicals and/or extreme temperatures because this quickly reduces its lubrication and scratch resistance characteristic. Wax/resin based ink ribbons are great for printing address labels, shipping labels, product labels, price labels and warehouse labels.
Wax-Resin Ribbons
The Wax-Resin ribbons are suitable on smooth plastic surfaces. Because Wax-Resin material is more robust in structure than the standard wax ribbons, the prints are more resistant to scratching and debris. Wax-Resin ink ribbons are ideal for mid-range and industrial printers.
